Crown Equipment Corporation is a family-owned international manufacturer, distributor, and servicer of material handling equipment and related products that is seeking to add an experienced attorney to focus on commercial transactions/contract review to its Law Department as an Associate General Counsel.

The position requires reviewing and negotiating a high volume of contracts and agreements with vendors and customers throughout the United States, with a primary goal of supporting our internal business clients in building our third-party relationships. Assisting the company with negotiating and documenting more complex business relationships and financing arrangements may also be required. The role will be complimentary to an existing close-knit team of Associate General Counsels who share an active and fast-paced transaction load.

The successful candidate will have approximately four years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation in either an in-house or law firm setting, and experience in areas like real estate transactions or employee benefits also will be considered. An ability to think strategically, manage a significant workload, and work closely with our Legal Assistants is essential.

The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to west central Ohio for this non-remote, non-hybrid position. Candidates unwilling to relocate or work in-person need not apply.
