    Job Summary

    This position is a multi-faceted support position within the Millstone Financial Management Group. The position will focus on two areas: 1) Consolidate and develop forecast/budgets for the Millstone Station; 2) Provide process improvement leadership through enhanced reporting and data analysis.

    Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Provide monthly analysis and presentation preparation for management meetings.

    • Oversee financial analysis to support operational decisions to include; analyzing results, monitoring variances, forecasting expenditures and identifying trends.

    • Provide fundamental business profitability analysis to management encompassing cost analysis, project analysis and analysis of the financial impacts of various business strategies.

    • Provide leadership with the Station departments and fixed asset accounting on issues regarding capitalization of work.

    • Be a strong change agent for process improvement, involving technology improvement.

    • Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

    Associate Financial Analyst : A minimum of 0- 3+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note: A master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).

    Financial Analyst: A minimum of 3+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note: A master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).

    Senior Financial Analyst: A minimum of 5+ years of financial or related experience is required. (Note: A master's degree will count as one year of experience. A partial year of six months or more experience will be rounded up to one full year).

    Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:

    • Knowledge of financial principles, cost control and analysis is required.

    • Good organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

    • Accounting standards and practices.

    • High attention to detail

    • Highly motivated with an aptitude for continuous learning

    • Strong Excel skills

    Preferred: SAP Experience, Anaplan Experience, Power BI Experience

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor's degree (or will obtain a Bachelor's degree by June 2024) in a related field (i.e. Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance) highly preferred. Financial Related work experience can be substituted for degree.
