We are seeking an Associate Director, Portfolio Analytics.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Provide portfolio level and position level analysis, reporting data and information to support the portfolio, strategy and manage investment research agenda, discussions, and investment decision-making processes.
Leverage quantitative skills to design and develop data driven analysis and models to support portfolio decision making,
Manipulate and design data and data visualization in SQL, Power BI and Tableau.
Perform statistical modeling, analysis and data mining to support investment decision making.
Overcome modeling challenges associated with non-transparent holdings and illiquid or non-public holdings including drawdown investment structures.
Perform advanced statistical analytics and VB quantitative modeling for endowment risk management.
Utilize advanced Excel and VBA skills including modeling and pivot tables.
Other duties as assigned within area of responsibility.
Up to 5% domestic travel.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Data strategy and management in the context of an investment organization.
Microsoft Excel skills including modeling.
At least four of the modern programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R, JavaScript, Java, Ruby, C/C++, SQL, Scala, Julia or SAS)
Experience and proficiency working with and designing data and data visualization in SQL, Power BI, and Tablea.
Statistical modeling, analysis, and data mining.
Applied statistical analysis and quantitative modeling endowment risk management.
Concise and impactful communication - verbal and written.
