    Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Financial Control

    • Influence and drive financially sound decisions through the creation of robust analysis.

    • Oversee and perform accounting activities for Summit Internal Manufacturing site. Review and approve the monthly operating results for accuracy, proper accounting treatment and compliance with internal and external control requirements.

    • Report operating results and provide analysis of key performance drivers to leadership.

    • Provide financial support for capital appropriation requests (CAR) submissions.

    • Provide follow-up to requests from internal and external auditors.

    • Preparation of month-end reporting package and analysis as well as reporting of key variance drivers to local operations management.

    • Regular engagement with management in key business processes and functions to proactively identify and mitigate financial, operational risk.

    • Sustains a strong Internal Controls framework, including maintaining policies and work instructions, imparting trainings, responding to day-to-day inquiries from process owners and escalating issues to key leadership within Cell Therapy Operations.

    • Analyze conversion costs including material and overhead and assist in tracking of period cost expenses against targets and forecasts.

    • Provide monthly review and reporting of Capital projects to ensure alignment with current budgets.

    Business Planning (Strategic Plan, Budget, Latest Forecast, and Latest Outlook) and Analysis

    • Prepare financial plans and latest forecasts for Summit Internal Manufacturing site including inventory.

    • Develop the calculation of the annual standard product costs for Summit Internal Manufacturing site.

    • Advise business partners on strategic projects and investment decisions.

    Other Responsibilities

    • Support clear and proactive communication within CTO and GPS.

    • Provide financial insights to management and employee audiences that increase their knowledge of the business and enhances their decision-making capability.

    • Satisfy internal and external audit requests as necessary.

    • Participate in ERP integration and implementation projects.

    Qualifications & Experiences

    • BA or BS in Finance / Accounting. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.

    • Eight + years of Finance/Accounting experience with a minimum of five years of industry experience.

    • Sustains a strong Internal Controls framework, including maintaining policies and work instructions, imparting trainings, responding to day-to-day inquiries from process owners and escalating issues to key leadership within Cell Therapy Operation and Business Controls.

    • Regular engagement with management in key business processes and functions to proactively identify and mitigate financial, operational and fraud risk.

    • Exceptional analytical skills with ability to understand the bigger picture (i.e. impacts across the business, etc.).

    • Team player able to interact with all levels and work on projects in a cross-functional team environment as well as interfacing effectively with global counterparts.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; ability to clearly explain financial information to a variety of audiences.

    • Highly motivated self-starter with a willingness to assume responsibility, take ownership for their work and intelligently challenge the status quo.

    • Tier one ERP experience necessary with preference SAP.

    • Exceptional systems skills required including financial modeling in Excel, business intelligence tools, and budgeting and financial reporting applications.
