Analyst -Financial Systems

Description

There is a current need for an Analyst - Financial Systems by one of Robert Half's clients. As the Analyst - Financial Systems, you will be responsible for configuring systems, performing data migration, overseeing the implementation of workflow processes, assisting with user access and permissions, and performing ongoing troubleshooting. The Analyst - Financial Systems will also prepare reports and create a variety of other materials including training documentation and department procedures. The ideal Analyst - Financial Systems must be comfortable supporting a large scale and fast paced environment. This permanent employment opportunity is based in the Philadelphia area.

Key responsibilities

• Become an administrator in managing core reporting and planning tools - Essbase, Anaplan & EDMCS

• Manage regular maintenance of these systems including data integrations/flows, variable/metadata maintenance.

• Partner with the implementation teams and contribute on the various roadmap projects.

• Troubleshoot issues related to system automations/data flows - Anaplan and Essbase

• Analyze business and user needs, documenting requirements and revising existing system logics as necessary.

• Prepare detailed functional and technical specifications from which programs will be written.

Requirements

The ideal Analyst -Financial Systems candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

Other requirements for the Analyst -Financial Systems position include and are not limited to:

• 3+ years of experience with financial planning or reporting toolset

• Experience with Hyperion, Oracle Cloud, Anaplan or OneStream preferred.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
