Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role involves the management of accounting functions and requires proficiency in various accounting software systems. The position requires working on-site and offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems including JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Microsoft Excel, and SAP for executing accounting functions

• Handling all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) and assisting in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Conducting check processing and data entry tasks with high levels of accuracy

• Addressing discrepancies in financial reports and ensuring all accounts are balanced

• Collaborating with international teams, particularly those based in France, to manage multinational accounts

• Assisting with audits and maintaining continuity in financial transactions

• Adapting to a manufacturing environment and understanding its unique financial processes. Requirements - Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with basic Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Experience with Check Processing

• Excellent Data Entry skills

• Ability to identify and resolve Discrepancies

• Knowledge of SAP software

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality

• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
