Description
We are in the search for a proficient Accounting Manager to join our team in Lynnfield,, Massachusetts. The chosen candidate will be tasked with managing daily accounting operations, collaborating with other companies in the portfolio, and will have support from external CPA firm as well as off-site Controller. This is an individual contributor role for now. The role also involves general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and handling periodical closures.

Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring their alignment with financial regulations and standards.
Collaborating with other companies within the portfolio to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
Providing support to an off-site Controller, assisting with tasks as and when required.
Managing the general ledger and ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
Preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensuring timely and accurate periodical closures and reporting to stakeholders.
Leveraging proficiency in ERP Solutions to enhance accounting functions and improve efficiency.
Handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring all transactions are accurate and timely.
Conducting regular auditing to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
Managing billing functions, ensuring all invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner.
Utilizing knowledge of General Ledger systems to maintain financial records and prepare financial statements
Requirements - Proficiency in ERP solutions is required
Must possess strong knowledge of accounting functions
Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) is essential
Prior auditing experience is necessary
Familiarity with billing functions is a must
Should have a sound understanding of the general ledger
Must be capable of preparing financial statements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required
Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is necessary
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required
Must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Should possess leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role in the accounting field is desirable
Should be detail-oriented and have the ability to multitask
Must adhere to all company policies and accounting principles.
