ACCOUNTING MANAGER FINANCIAL STATEMENTS

Job title : Accounting Manager

Location: Fairfax, VA

Job Summary The candidate will manage an Accounting team overseeing tasks such as developing accounting procedures and handling financial operations like accounts payable/receivable and payroll. They will also be involved in project accounting using specific software tools like Sage 300 and Procore for monthly reporting and audits. Even Simpler: This person is like a team captain for accountants who makes sure everyone does their money-related jobs well. They also keep track of money for big projects using special computer programs.

Skill Requirements :

• Accounting procedures : Ability to develop and implement efficient practices.

• Financial operations : Experience with accounts payable/receivable and payroll.

• Project Accounting : Proficiency in managing project finances using Sage 300 / Procore .

• Power BI Reporting : Skill in analytics reporting.

• Strong knowledge of Excel.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.

• Construction industry experience.

• Supervisory skills.

Skill Education

• Accounting procedures : The standardized methods used by accountants to track and manage financial information within an organization.

• Financial operations : Encompasses all tasks related to managing money within a company including billing clients (accounts receivable), paying bills (accounts payable), managing payroll for employees, etc.

• Project Accounting : Specific type of accounting that tracks financials on a per-project basis allowing for better financial tracking of projects.

• Sage 300/Procore : Software tools commonly used for construction project management; includes capabilities for cost control and financial tracking.

• Power BI Reporting : A business analytics service by Microsoft; it provides interactive visualizations with self-service business intelligence capabilities where end users can create reports and dashboards.

Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
