Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Development/Account Manager in Englewood, New Jersey. This role is within the chemical distribution industry, where you will work closely with senior members to develop markets and drive revenue. As an integral part of our team, you will manage pipeline accounts, foster strategic partnerships, and actively market products.
Cultivate, evaluate, negotiate, and close sales opportunities and purchase agreements
Actively market chemical and polymer products, keeping track of lead and sales activities
Understand and address customer needs by identifying products to meet those needs
Foster and maintain strategic partnerships with clients and suppliers
Gain a comprehensive understanding of our chemical and polymer product lines and the industries they serve
Manage and grow pipeline accounts, providing regular and accurate forecasts
Utilize CRM and Management Systems to keep track of customer interactions and sales
Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Maintain high levels of customer service and communication, both internally and externally.
Requirements - Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Manager
Proficient in using CRM and Management Systems
Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Excel effectively
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
Strong knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred.
