The ONEx Business Insights team is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to accelerate the transformation Cisco's Customer Experience (CX) organization through customer data analysis, analytics, and business insights. The vision for our team is to craft outstanding analytics products that can be used by our internal collaborators to drive recurring revenue growth and increase customer adoption of Cisco's product and service portfolio.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will craft the overall future of recurring revenue analytics and insights. You will have the opportunity to build key data science capabilities for building and maintaining an outstanding customer health model in addition to being a driving force for building and crafting a new, outstanding renewal risk model for Cisco's entire subscription software portfolio. In effect, you'll help Cisco grow, while discovering limitless opportunities to develop yourself in the areas of enterprise data analysis, financial data analysis, recurring revenue, customer success, and predictive data science models. Collaborate as part of the overall ONEx Business Insights team to define and deliver the overall strategy for Cisco's recurring revenue portfolio.
Work with Customer Success, Renewals Operations, and Software Engineering business units to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements, features & user stories.
Source, analyze and interpret customer and financial data, analyzing results using statistical techniques.
Develop and implement financial data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Lead the expansion of the Cisco Customer Health product, which measures how Cisco customers use and embrace Cisco software products.
Build reports in Tableau and Tableau CRM (i.e, Salesforce Einstein Analytics) to visualize program data, generate dashboards, reports and presentations.
Partner with development and data management teams to identify and collect data required from internal and external sources.
Enable the development of key data sets curated and optimized for data science models around product features / telemetry, financial data, customer experience data, and many more.
Develop and deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for our collaborators.
Work cross-functionality on completing our analytic roadmaps while partnering with Product Management, Dev and QA to deliver polished final product.
Who You Are
A go getter who flourishes with delivering high quality outcomes. The ideal candidate loves data, is an out of the box problem solver, and thrives in an unstructured work environment. You have industry knowledge and experience in relevant Software as a Service business models, Customer Success, and Renewals. You have experience with the big data systems & modeling techniques of today with an eye on future innovation to drive progress. You think about the interactions between process, data & analysis and how to bring them together to improve insights that can be used to drive our customer's success, adoption, and renewal of Cisco's software and service offer portfolio.
You will have strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, superb attention to detail, and good intuition for business.
Expert SQL and other database tools/platforms with experience in database design.
Demonstrated ability in Business Intelligence or related tools in high-tech industry, with demonstrable ability to ramp up quickly
Strong Tableau dashboard design, development and maintenance experience. Tableau CRM (Einstein Analytics) a very strong plus.
Strong, demonstrable skills with data analysis, running and understanding large data sets
Experience with (or strong desire to learn) predictive modeling and analytics to interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Agile development lifecycle experience a (Kanban or Sprints)
Experience with Snowflake or other RDBMS
Ability to lead small teams and mentor junior analysts.
Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in CRM systems like ~~~
Experience in SaaS recurring revenue business models, customer success & renewals experience preferred.
