This position is at FreeWheel, a Comcast company, and will work on the recently acquired Beeswax DSP business.
We are looking for a Technical Partner Manager to own operational management and marketplace analytics of our critically important programmatic exchange partners. Beeswax partners with over 50 ad exchanges around the world, and maintaining excellent operational management and data-driven understanding of this portfolio of partners is critical to the ongoing success and growth of our platform.
As a Technical Partner Manager, you will act as the primary day-to-day operational owner for a portfolio of exchange partners. Using your knowledge of programmatic advertising transactions, you will ensure that the way Beeswax works with exchanges is optimized for the needs of our business and our clients, both by reacting to specific client needs and by proactively managing partner implementations on an ongoing basis. You will be the subject-matter expert on how these partners can provision their services to Beeswax. You will also become an expert in the metrics which define each partnership, keeping the organization informed about the health of those partnerships and making recommendations for improvements. Finally, you will conduct a variety of longer term strategic analysis projects on the data generated from these partnerships, with the goal of informing strategic decision making across Beeswax's partnerships and product teams.
-Acting as the primary point-of-contact for exchange partners for operational and technical topics.
-Optimizing the operational details of exchange partner integrations (e.g. traffic levels and filtering), both in response to individual client needs and as part of ongoing proactive efforts to balance meeting client objectives and controlling infrastructure costs.
-Owning the financial discrepancy management process with partners, ensuring that financial risk from ad serving discrepancies is minimized and that exceptions are investigated with urgency.
-Conducting ad-hoc and long-term strategic analysis of the data generated from exchange partnerships to inform strategic decision making and respond to internal and client requests.
-Maintaining comprehensive documentation about the operational configuration and related capabilities of individual exchanges.
-B.S. or B.A. degree.
-3-5 years' experience in programmatic advertising, ideally at a DSP or SSP; specific experience with DSP/SSP commercial and technical partnerships preferred.
-Data driven and analytical, SQL and Excel experience a must; Python or other languages a plus.
-Knowledge of (or ability to quickly learn) the technical details of how DSPs and SSPs transact, including the OpenRTB protocol.
-Focus and passion for continuous and proactive operational improvement.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor communication style for varying levels of seniority and technical expertise.
-Strong organizational skills, dependable and accountable.
-Intellectually curious self-starter.
