We are seeking a new colleague to join our Chassis R&D team in Northville, MI!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of a project according to the requirements of the ZF modular system and the customer requirements according to the ZF GDPEP.

• Responsible for implementing the project in the customer schedule according to the requirements, taking into account quality and costs

• Coordination of a development team consisting of different development areas

• Mechanical, E/E Hardware, Software, Safety, Function, Simulation and Validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) and 6+ years of relevant experience.

• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorhsip now or in the future.

• Proficient understanding of mechatronic systems, viewing features, and automated driving technology

• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult

• Appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to work effectively with business partners to meet mutual goals required

• Problem Solving & Analytical Methods: DFSS, DFMEA and PFMEA
