Program Director

Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.

Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 12 years of related experience to include 10 or more years of project management experience desired.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The Enterprise Reporting Program Director in the Corporate Systems and Programs organization, helps shape and realize the future of Business Intelligence strategy at Oracle and ensure that the internal BI solutions are a showcase for the industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key Business leadership role in the evolution of Oracle's Business Intelligence solutions using some of the most advanced BI and Data Warehousing technologies available on the market today.

The Program Director is a trusted partner to the functional LOB owners, IT development and operational teams, who leads high visibility, high-impact, cross-functional, global business intelligence programs in the corporate data warehouse.

This role:

• Builds critical business partnerships with Line of Business owners and IT development teams in order to drive BI initiatives

• Performs an influential role in shaping reporting solutions

• Ensures business intelligence programs align with corporate strategy, information security, and data governance standards for the corporate data warehouse while also supporting business agility

• Gathers requirements from business teams, provides expert functional guidance on BI architecture strategy, and drives progress and tracking across solution development roadmaps

• Leads user acceptance testing across major programs

• Identifies and addresses gaps, issues and conflicts, especially across teams

• Communicates with executives and various levels of management on program updates, issues and risks

The Program Director will perform a key role in the following programs:

• Business migration from the on premise corporate data warehouse to the BI solutions in the Cloud

• Data Governance and Strategy enablement for the new BI solutions and architecture to ensure optimal utilization, engagement, and benefit along with data security, consistency, business self-service and agility

• Coordination across various organizations and LOBs to ensure readiness of reporting solutions impacted by Oracle's internal transaction systems moving to the Cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years' experience leading cross organizational, global business intelligence (BI) programs

• Experience driving and implementing strategy for global programs for upgrade, enablement or migration of data warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions, especially cross organizational, global deployments

• Proven ability to lead and influence across teams and organizations

• Experience and comfort with engaging with various levels of Executives and management

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on relationship and trust building

• Results and delivery oriented

• High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities over a long-term horizon
